Emily Fleuriot
Emily Fleuriot specialises in devising and implementing creative content solutions for e-zines, magazines and brands' online presence. This ranges from writing and/or blogging for a site, through to content development and management strategies.
Emily has over seven years experience at leading fashion and beauty b2b Fashion Monitor. She spent the last four years as Editor, which included working on the June 2006 relaunch of Fashion Monitor as a daily online service.
Following its successful relaunch, which also required a revamp of the print offer, Emily worked on various initiatives to drive up web hits and unique users.This involved introducing content and communication offerings such as the Fashion Monitor Daily news email, a Fashion Monitor London Fashion Week service and the inclusion of job pages on the Fashion Monitor website. She then directed a further push towards increasing Fashion Monitor's online presence in September 2007. Fashion Monitor was awarded Product Development of the Year at the DPA Awards 2007.
As a freelance writer, she has contributed to publications ranging from Cosmopolitan and Sun Woman Online to Clash music magazine and VIEW Consultancy's Lost+Found. She covers fashion, beauty, celebrity and lifestyle for both trade and consumer titles. Interviewees range from industry insiders, such as Hilary Riva, Chief Executive of the BFC, fashion writer Colin McDowell and The Future Laboratory's Martin Raymond; and she has also quizzed celebrities, including Mischa Barton, Petra Nemcova and Kelly Brook.
In addition to her content work, Emily is also available as a consumer trends consultant to brands and media titles.
